Trinidad 9th - 14th October 2024

The main advisory meetings will be held on Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th October, in Port of Spain. Please contact charlotte@ukesc.co.uk for further details and to register attendance or to schedule an alternative appointment if you can't attend the main meetings.

About UKESC

UKESC offers FREE counselling and advice to Caribbean students interested in studying at university in the UK and FREE application assistance and post-application support to those applying to any of the universities UKESC works with.

UKESC has considerable, wide-ranging experience of education in the UK and the West Indies and, since 2002, has helped hundreds of students from the Caribbean to select and apply successfully for appropriate courses and come to study in the UK.

UKESC is run by Mrs Charlotte Furse-Roberts MA(Cantab) MSc(Bristol), having originally been started by her parents, Mrs Jenny Atherton and Prof. Jeff Atherton, British nationals who lived in Barbados until 2006.

UKESC has a wealth of up-to-date information on Higher Education in the UK.

UKESC offers guidance to students relating to their subject of interest and can advise on all aspects of the application, including entrance requirements, costs and scholarships.

UKESC will help students with application forms if they are applying to any of the universities it works with.

UKESC is an official UCAS centre and can provide access to, and help with, the on-line undergraduate application route to UK universities.

UKESC will advise on postgraduate taught (masters) and research programmes (MPhil & PhD)

UKESC can also advise students about appropriate pre-degree courses in the UK.

UKESC continues to support students coming to the universities it works with, throughout the post-application period right up to arrival at the university.    

UKESC believes firmly in the quality of the courses it recommends and will act with integrity when dealing with students and institutions.

UKESC makes absolutely no charge to students for any of its help.
