About UKESC

UKESC was started by Mrs Jenny Atherton and Prof. Jeff Atherton, British nationals who lived in Barbados until 2006. It is now run by their daughter, Charlotte Furse-Roberts, with Jenny and Jeff retaining an active interest and continuing to assist in advising students on UKESC's visits to the region. UKESC has considerable, wide-ranging experience of education in the UK and the West Indies, and has helped many students to select and apply successfully for appropriate courses.

UKESC has a wealth of up-to-date information on Higher Education in the UK.

UKESC offers FREE counselling and advice to students relating to their choice of subject area and university.

UKESC will help students with application forms.

UKESC continues to support students coming to the universities it works with, throughout the post-application period right up until they arrive at the university.

UKESC is an official UCAS centre and can provide access to, and help with, the on-line undergraduate application route to UK universities.

UKESC will advise on postgraduate taught (masters) and research programmes (MPhil & PhD)

UKESC can also advise students about appropriate pre-degree courses in the UK.

UKESC believes firmly in the quality of the courses it recommends and will act with integrity when dealing with students and institutions.

UKESC makes absolutely no charge to students for any of its help.
